Suzanne has obtained New York State Teacher Certifications in five different areas: Literacy 5-12, Childhood Education 1-6, Middle Childhood Education 5-9, Health K-12, and Family and Consumer Sciences K-12, as well as certification in Educational Leadership (Administration). Her teaching experience is also expansive, ranging from Health to Home and Careers Skills to Literacy. Most recently, as a Saranac Lake Central School District Literacy Specialist, Suzanne developed a literacy program at the Saranac Lake Middle School. After graduating from Ithaca College in 2002 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Minor in Health, Suzanne was employed as an Exercise Physiologist outside of Boston, MA. As a physiologist, she trained individuals according to their personal strengths, weaknesses, and goals. She then taught high school Health and Physical Education in Boston for two years before moving back to her hometown of Saranac Lake, NY. She received her Master of Education in Literacy from SUNY Potsdam in 2009 and a second degree, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership/Administration at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2014. Suzanne also enjoys coaching girls' soccer, Odyssey of the Mind, and learning American Sign Language with her students.

Andrea holds a New York State Teacher Certificate in k-6 and a Master's of Science in Education degree from the University of Albany. She graduated from Princeton University with a BS in Psychology and New Jersey state elementary education certification. Born and raised in Saranac Lake, Andrea is a graduate of Northwood School in Lake Placid. At Princeton, she played varsity hockey, served as Vice President of the Varsity Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and volunteered in a community learning center. After graduation, Andrea spent three years tutoring in the Boston area before returning to Saranac Lake to teach fifth grade. She has taught multiple subjects in fourth through sixth grades, as well as high school mathematics. While at Northwood School, she served as a college guidance counselor as well. She currently teaches a combined 3rd/4th grade at St. Bernard's School. Andrea, a 2002 USA Women's Hockey Silver Medalist, served on the 2014 Olympic Team Selection Committee for women's hockey and is an assistant coach for the U18 National Team. She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time on the lake.
